Rockridge is a very desireable neighborhood in Oakland with its' own BART stop. Situated in North Oakland around College Avenue it is a neighborhood where you have all the desirable attractions of an urban setting without the hastles, such as parking. You can walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, and many other businesses. There is a range from newer construction homes in upper Rockridge where the Oakland firestorm occured to charming Craftsman and California Bungalow style homes on tree line streets. Because of it's popularity, Rockridge does tend to be more expensive than other Oakland neighborhoods.
