About Me
A resident of the San Francisco Bay area since 1986, I know the value of living in the Bay area and all the wonders it has to offer. The Bay area is truly unique in many aspects, but especially its real estate market. This will always be a desirable place to live due to the mild climate, the liberal politics, the geography, the incredible ethnic diversity, and the variety of activities available for fun and pleasure. I specialize in the East Bay of San Francisco, including Berkeley, Oakland, El Cerrito, Albany, Kensington, Piedmont, Emeryville, and Alameda. Despite earthquakes, fires, and other natural disasters people want to live here and this will ALWAYS be a desirable place to live. This is why real estate values stay high, compared to the rest of the country.
I grew up in Michigan in the midwest and lived in Seattle for 5 years and Boston for 3 before settling in California. I combine business knowledge with people skills to help my clients achieve the best possible outcome, whether they are buying or selling a home or investment property. I have degrees in Business Administration and Social Work. My background of working in the mental health field for 25 years is extremely valuable in negotiating for my client's interests. I also have previous experience in sales and marketing of telecommunication products and services. In addition, I have learned how to maximize real estate investments and happily share my wealth of information with my clients.
I approach my work with honesty and professionalism. I am interested in relationships and building my business upon them. I therefore service my clients long after they close their escrow with referrals for home improvements and resource people as well as questions that come up related to home ownership. I look forward to servicing your needs.
Finally, I would like to provide just a little help navigating this web site. There is a wealth of information here, depending upon your needs. If you would like more information on how I work with buyers or sellers click those tabs. My Communities page is meant to be a resource for you before, during, and after your transaction. If you are new to the bay area or moving from San Francisco, you will find the "Cities and Neighborhoods I Serve" links to be very helpful information on many east bay neighborhoods. You can search for properties currently on the market by going to MLS Search. If you would like to get an idea of different properties I've sold, you can go to Properties, and then go to Sold Properties. There is even a Mortgage Calculator here for you to explore lending senerios but talk to me for referrals to excellent mortgage brokers. Enjoy your stay on my site.
